With social distancing and virtual interaction becoming the “new normal”, students as well as teachers experience an increased sense of isolation and disconnectedness, not to mention the high level anxiety in dealing with the uncertainty of the unknown future. The need for social connectedness and supportive learning communities is even more critical during these times of crisis.
In this session, participants will explore simple, practical, and effective strategies to stay connected with students and their families and maintain the continuity, consistency, and commitment that provide these families with a sense of safety and support that they urgently need.
